ELECTRIC DOCKETS

Docket No. 98-01-02RE04 – DPUC Review of CL&P’s Electric Restructuring Rates and Tariffs

  • 12/18/09 – Proposed rates can be found HERE.

Docket No. 05-07-19RE02 – DPUC Proceeding to Develop a New Class III RPS Standard – 2009 Revisions

  • 4/1/10 – Kimberly Clark Corporation filed an Appeal to the DPUC’s Final Decision in this proceeding in the Superior Court for the Judicial District of New Britain.
  • 3/31/10 – DPUC issued a letter finding EDC’s plan acceptable and in compliance with Order No. 1.

Docket No. 05-10-03 – Application of The Connecticut Light and Power Company to Implement Time of Use, Interruptible or Load Response and Seasonal Rates

  • 5/20/10 – DPUC issued final decision to delay the implementation of Phase 3 of Order No. 7 in the instant proceeding until it concludes its review of CL&P’s Plan It Wise Pilot Program. Order No. 7 requires CL&P to implement mandatory TOU rates for its business customers with the following 3-phase schedule for implementation:
    • Phase 1 – Effective 1/1/09 – customers with monthly demands in excess of 300 kW must take service under a TOU rate
    • Phase 2 – Effective 1/1/10 – customers with monthly demands in excess of 200 kW must take service under a TOU rate
    • Phase 3 – Effective 1/1/11 – customers with monthly demands in excess of 100 kW must take service under a TOU rate
  • CL&P has completed Phases 1 and 2 and is set to begin Phase 3

    Docket No. 05-10-03RE01 – Application of CL&P to Implement Time-of-use, Interruptible or Load Response, and Seasonal Rates – Review of Metering Plan

    • 3/31/10 – CL&P filed report on costs and benefits of AMI and dynamic pricing, along with its plan for AMI deployment.

    Docket No. 08-02-06 – DPUC Investigation into The Connecticut Light and Power Company’s Billing Issues

    • 5/25/10 – OCC filed an Appeal with CT Court of Appeals

    Docket No. 08-07-04RE02 – Application of The United Illuminating Company to Increase Its Rates and Charges – Review of Decoupling Pilot, Pension Tracker, ROE Sharing Mechanism, and GET Adjustment

    Docket No. 09-10-09 – Annual Review of CT Electric Supplier and EDC Compliance with 2008 RPS

    Docket No. 09-12-05 – Application of CL&P to Amend its Distribution Rates

    • 5/19/10 – DPUC issued a Notice expanding the scope of this proceeding to include customers who operate non Class I generating facilities.
