Yesterday, in Docket No. 10-10-02, United Illuminating requested that the DPUC convene an administrative proceeding to incorporate the results of UI’s most recent Department approved power procurement for Last Resort Service (LRS) into new Generation Services Charges (GSC) for LRS customers effective October 1, 2010.
UI said its Last Resort Service generation revenues will be increased by $1,750,687, or 5.9%, and that the overall effect on rates for customers taking Supplier of Last Resort Generation Service would result in an increase of 3.4%.
